Brijon Ghikermann was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on May 20, 1981. He is currently a top competitor in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Gi and no Gi) in both Canada and the USA for Team Megaton. His record speaks to his knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for the art, winning countless times conquering his weight and open weight divisions. Brijon has countless hours on the mat under the careful tutelage of Black belts Trevor Clarkson, Pat Delany and, world renowned 4th degree black belt Megaton Dias. With a belief in the importance of cross training, Brijon is a qualified apprentice instructor in Jeet Kune Do, and the Filipino Martial Arts under Sifu Trevor Clarkson, one of a handful of senior instructors under Paul Vunak, of Progressive Fighting Systems. Brijon is also the head instructor for the Creative Fighters Guild's kids and teen’s programs. Brijon dedicates his success in his martial arts career to his mentor and teacher, Trevor Clarkson.
